You have been kidnapped and trapped in an unknown place. You found a key in your pocket and used it to open a door. A monster who must have been guarding the door confronted you. With the help of a mysterious man whose mouth has been sewn shut but managed to open it and tell you what to do, you killed the monster. The man told you that you are in an insane asylum and that a doctor, his father, is conducting experiments on the residents. Unspeakable experiments. You then found out that the doctor knows who you are.

"So this doctor, your dad, knows who I am?" you ask, still dazed from what has happened.

"Yes, he does," the thing, that you found out is actually a man, says in his scratchy voice.

"What's your name?" you ask, not wanting to refer to him as "it".

"I - I don't remember," he says in a voice that is almost a whisper.

"How did you lose your arms?" you ask and immediately regret.

"When the doctor was sewing my mouth shut, I guess. I pushed him off me too much."

You shudder as your imagination takes hold of this comment.

"But none of this is important. Follow me," he says.

On your walk through the hall, Jacob explains how he got in. He says he had to kill a guard or two and use the identification key, and he was in.

"But why did you come?" Matt asks.

"To save you," Jacob says. "By the way, what the hell happened to you?"

Matt explains and Jacob's eyes go dark. "So we are going to find him and kill him..." Jacob says. Matt nods.

"Uh, actually we can't kill him," you chirp in.

Jacob turns around angrily. "And why's that?" he asks, clearly threatening you.

Matt comes to your side. "He doesn't know who he is, but the doctor does."

Jacob accepts this. "Okay, so we'll torture him, make him tell your name, then we kill him."

"Good," Jacob says and you continue walking forward.

Matt leads you to 3 doors. He says one will lead you the long way to the doctor. One leads to a tunnel, a shortcut. One leads to the executioner's room. A man with an ax for a hand resides in that room. He will certainly kill you on sight.

Which door do you go through?

• ⭕The first door on the right. → Go to Page 24.
• ⭕The first door on the left. → Go to Page 10.
• ⭕The second door on the left. → Go to Page 28.

When you see it, you have to hold back tears. You throw up, then look at Jacob.

• ⭕Comfort Jacob. → Go to Page 23.

You throw one knife. Only the hilt hits the man, not affecting him at all. You throw your second, this one burying itself deep into his arm. Your third goes through his skull. He is dead.

• ⭕Look at Matt's body. → Go to Page 4.
• ⭕Comfort Jacob. → Go to Page 23.

You spin around and come face-to-face with a normal-looking man. He grabs you and shoves you through a door. He does the same with your friend then he rushes in and shuts the door. Soon after, you hear footsteps pass and he opens the door and motions you to come out.

• ⭕Come out. → Go to Page 25.

You follow him around a corner. Before you round the corner, he stops you. "Listen to me, and don't question me. You need to make a sharp turn around this corner and cut high. Do you understand? Go now."

• ⭕Ignore him and slowly walk around the corner. → Go to Page 29.
• ⭕Do as he told you. → Go to Page 12.

You attempt to stab Jacob, but as you do he fires his gun. It connects with your arm. You drop the knife and fall backward. He finishes you off with one shot to the head.

• 💀Try Again → Go to Page 1.

Your first throw hits it in the knee. It falls down and as it gets up, you throw your second one which hits it in the hand. You aim then throw your final knife, hitting the monster in the head. It is dead.

• ⭕Look at Matt's body. → Go to Page 4.
• ⭕Comfort Jacob. → Go to Page 23.

You open the door to a dark room. You search for a light while Matt closes the door behind you. "This must be the right room. I swear I remember," he keeps repeating.

He's starting to make you nervous. You find a light switch and flip it up. The first thing you notice is a man with an ax for a hand. He charges for Matt. Matt yelps, but is sliced through with ease. Jacob fires his gun and hits the executioner square in the shoulder.

You look at the two halves of Matt's body and think of how he had saved you, gone through an excruciating amount of pain to tell you to grab the knife.

The knife! You remember your three knives and try to decide what to do next.

• ⭕Cower in fear in the corner. → Go to Page 30.
• ⭕Throw 2 of your knives at the executioner and then charge him. → Go to Page 19.
• ⭕Throw all your knives. → Go to Page 5.
• ⭕Charge him. → Go to Page 16.

As you walk, matching his pace, he stops abruptly. He spins around and tells you to be quiet. His lips have scabbed up from all the blood that had poured when they tore, and he truly is a disgusting sight.

You bend down as what looks like a half-man, half-dog is escorted from a room. It has the head of a man but the body of a dog. Where the head has been sewn on is covered in blood and pus. It moans and throws up. A man kicks it forward and it is gone.

You turn around and gag, but you manage to hold it in. The thing motions for you to stand, but as you do you feel a hand on your shoulder.

• ⭕Turn around and stab it. → Go to Page 22.

You spin around the corner and slash high. You feel as your knife cuts through something. You hear a thud and look down. Before your feet is a tall crumpled-up man. He seemed to be, at one time, holding 2 knives which are now sprawled across the floor. There is a deep cut at his neck. He is dead.

As you pick up his knives, the thing turns the corner. It seems pleased. "Good job, now follow me."

You stuff the knives in your waistband as you watch him walk away.

You decide to end it quickly and slit your own throat.

• 💀Try Again → Go to Page 1.

"We go through the tunnel, seeing as it's the quickest way," Jacob says. You nod and, still dazed from Matt's death, get up and walk to the first door on the right.

You won! For now.

You charge her, wielding 2 knives. With one swift movement, your head is soon rolling on the floor.

• 💀Try Again → Go to Page 1.

You run at the executioner, wielding 2 knives. He looks at you until you are an arm's length away then swings his ax hand. You feel your body tear in 2.

• 💀Try Again → Go to Page 1.

You throw your first knife, which hits its knee. It falls down and as it tries to get up, you throw your second knife. This one hits it in the hand. You then run at it and thrust your knife through its head. It's dead.

• ⭕Look at Matt's body. → Go to Page 4.
• ⭕Comfort Jacob. → Go to Page 23.

You throw one knife. She ducks out of its path, but the second one you throw connects with her shoulder. You get up and throw your last one, which connects with her head. She is dead.

• ⭕Look at Matt's body. → Go to Page 4.
• ⭕Comfort Jacob. → Go to Page 23.

You throw one knife, the hilt hitting him and not affecting him at all. You throw your second, this one burying deep into his arm. He screams in pain and you charge at him. You stuff your knife into his skull and he collapses, dead.

You throw the first. She ducks smoothly out of the way, but your second one connects with her shoulder. As she gasps for breath, backing away, you get yourself up. You run at her, and when she looks up all she sees is a knife. You stab her through her eye. She is dead.

• ⭕Look at Matt's body. → Go to Page 4.
• ⭕Comfort Jacob. → Go to Page 23.

Jacob points his gun at you. "It's either that way or no way."

• ⭕Okay. → Go to Page 3.
• ⭕Try to kill Jacob. → Go to Page 8.

You spin around to see a mostly normal-looking man. You stab him in the stomach. He lets out a grunting noise and crumbles to the ground. At first, you feel proud, but a couple seconds after you kill him guards walk around the corner. They see you and shoot you immediately.

• 💀Try Again → Go to Page 1.

You go over to Jacob. He is crying. He looks up at you. "Jacob, I - I'm so sorry. I -" You feel hot tears in your eyes. "I'm sorry," you manage.

Matt is dead now. You start to cry, and Jacob pats your back, wipes his eyes, and says, "Let's go kill that damned doctor."

• ⭕Get out into the hall and discuss what to do next. → Go to Page 14.

You open the door and see a long tunnel. Matt smiles and turns to Jacob but before he can say anything, a long blade goes through his back and out his stomach. He grunts and squeaks, then the blade goes straight up, cutting him in 2. You fall backward, scared and confused.

Before you is a woman. But that's all you can tell. Her face has no skin, and instead of arms, she has blades. Jacob backs up and trips over you.

"Hello, boys," she says in a wretched voice.

Poor Matt. He saved you, and now he lies there, dead. He had saved your life by telling you to grab the knife. Wait, the knife! Suddenly, your mind remembers the knives you have in your waistband. But what do you do with them?

• ⭕Throw 2 at her then charge her. → Go to Page 20.
• ⭕Throw them all at her. → Go to Page 18.
• ⭕Charge her. → Go to Page 15.

You slowly walk out as you study the man's face. He looks like he's in his 40's, short-cropped hair, 5 o'clock shadow. He has one or two scars, but they are barely visible. That's when you notice the gun in his hand. You back away slowly.

When he realizes you noticed the gun, he explains. "This is just to protect myself. You don't try nothin' and you'll be fine."

• ⭕Try to kill him and take his gun. → Go to Page 31.
• ⭕Nod okay. → Go to Page 27.

You run straight at it, holding two knives. You stab them both in its chest. It is still somewhat alive, and with the last of its strength bites your head. You feel excruciating pain, until you feel nothing at all.

• 💀Try Again → Go to Page 1.

"Good," he says. He turns around to the thing and, to your surprise, he hugs him. "Matt, you're okay."

The thing's (Matt) eyes brighten. "Jacob, it's you," Matt says cheerfully.

Jacob turns around and waves at you to follow him.

• ⭕Follow Jacob. → Go to Page 2.

You open this door to see a series of doors. Matt nods. "This will take a little longer, but is much safer," he says. As he says it, you notice a figure in the corner.

Before you have time to react, its huge jaws are on Matt's head. It smashes Matt's head with its jaws and looks to you. It has the jaws of a cow. Blood cakes its teeth as it lumbers toward you.

Jacob aims his gun but is very shaky and he drops it. Poor Matt. He had saved you by telling you to grab the knife, now he is dead.

Wait, the knife! You remember the three knives in your waistband, but what do you do with them?

• ⭕Throw all 3 of your knives at it. → Go to Page 9.

You take your time around the corner and you see a tall man. He has a wicked green on his face and is staring at you coldly. You look down and see 2 knives in his hands. You try to back away but he slices at your stomach. As you slowly bleed to death, you watch as that thing with the beady eyes gets chopped up to bits.

You back away and turn into a ball. You hear Jacob scream. Blood showers over you. Jacob's blood. You look up just in time to see the executioner's ax hit you.

You take out your knife, and in that split second it took, he already has aim. He takes one shot and you fall to the floor.
